3rd Bunting issue, Richmond Depot. Made between May and Sept. 1863 because of its 45 x 45 inch size. It is unusual because it has 7 whipped eyelets instead of the normal 3. It is composed of 3 pieces of red wool bunting measuring 12"/9"/12". The cross measures 5-1/2 to 5-3/4 inches across. The stars are 3-1/2 in. wide and 3 in. high.
