James Graves was born in 1833-1835, and he died in 1910 in Georgia. His mother, Lucinda, was born in 1807 in Virginia, and died August 13th 1869 in Clarke County. His wife was named Martha Fielding, and she was born May 1845 in Georgia. James was a private in Company L, 3rd Georgia Volunteer Infantry and served with them until the surrender at Appomattox.
